Today’s kitchen experiment: Protein Blueberry Muffins! 💙

These were my very first test batch, and I’m already loving how they turned out! Golden on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and filled with juicy blueberries. 😍

As I continue growing Donna’s Home Treats, I want to experiment with new recipes, try different ideas, and find ways to bring you delicious treats with a little something extra!

This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to share more of my kitchen experiments with you. 🥰

I unfortunately am notorious for forgetting to photograph everything. Here is the wedding cake. Didn’t get photos of the 6 dozen cupcakes I made and frosted. So happy I was able to be a part of and celebrate my youngest sister getting married!

Before there’s a finished dessert, there’s a kitchen full of ingredients, a recipe, and a whole lot of love. ❤️

One of my favorite parts of baking is watching simple ingredients come together to make something delicious.

This week I’ve been back in the kitchen testing, tweaking, tasting, and getting Donna’s Home Treats ready for its next chapter. 🧁

And yes… there may be some new treats making their way onto the menu. 👀

🧁 Baking Week Wrap-Up 🧁

What a week in the kitchen! 🤍

This week was all about getting back into the swing of things—testing recipes, baking, taste testing, making a few messes, and remembering just how much I LOVE being in the kitchen. 🥹

We made a sprinkle cake taste test for my sister’s wedding, tested brownies, and spent plenty of time figuring out what’s going to make the cut for the new Donna’s Home Treats menu. 🎂🍫✨

Not everything has to come out perfect the first time. Sometimes it’s about tasting, tweaking, learning, and trying again—and that’s exactly what this week was about!

After stepping away from my bakery for a while to focus on my family, getting back into the kitchen feels like coming home. ❤️

This is only the beginning of the Donna’s Home Treats relaunch, and I have SO much planned for what’s ahead.

Thank you for following along with me as I rebuild, rebrand, and bake my way into this next chapter. 🧁💕
