let’s have some honesty tonight —
last night, nothing was going right for me. It had been a rough day and then everything that could go wrong in my cake world, did. I cried over a cake for the first time in my life lol and it was simply because I know what I’m capable of and that cake did not represent that. So upset and disheartened, I called it quits for the night and woke up to scrape everything off and do it again.
I knew what I could do — I knew I could do better, but it was just an off day. And it’s okay to have off days. But it’s not okay to give up when you do have an off day. Just take a break, give yourself some grace, and do it again the next. I guarantee it’ll be better 💟
