My first (and definitely not last) Jack Skellington sourdough attempt!

Did it come out exactly how I pictured? Nope.
Did it still turn out kinda hysterical? Absolutely.

I’m thinking hydration was a little off, and using the oval Dutch oven didn’t do me any favors—but hey, that’s how you learn. Got some solid notes for next time and I’m already plotting round two. 😏

Not mad at this one at all… Jack might be a little rough around the edges, but he’s got character.

✨ Trying Something New With April Pick-Up Schedule… 👀✨

I’ll be testing out a few Sunday pick-ups on a trial basis starting in April!

Thursdays have been my usual rhythm, but I know schedules get busy—and I want to make getting your baked goods as easy (and enjoyable) as possible.

So… I’m giving Sundays a shot. 🙌

This is just a trial run for now as I figure out what works best moving forward.

🚨 March Pick-Up Dates:
Because I’ll be heading off to Ireland for a little adventure, there will only be TWO pick-up dates in March:
📦 Wednesday, March 5
📦 Wednesday, March 26

That’s it for the month — so if you’ve been craving sourdough, cookies, or need a little mid-week treat to get you through, make sure you get those orders in!

They say a watched pot never boils…
and a watched sourdough starter never doubles. 🍞👀

So after feeding the starter, the only logical solution is to look away and start a brand-new crochet project 🧶
Because fermentation requires patience… and apparently so does yarn.

If the starter doubles the second I get comfortable, that’s just how it works.
Bread has rules. I don’t make them. 😌🔥
