The Bread Bowl is officially retiring! It’s been fun, challenging, exhausting and so very dear to my heart. I’ve met the best people along the way and will cherish and carry on those friendships forever 🥰 We will not be finishing the Bridgeport Farmers Market 2026 season and that truly bums me out on so many levels. 2026 was our 10th year with BFM2 and 12 years total doing Farmers Markets. I wish all my fellow vendors the absolute best and will miss my customers terribly! It was a great season in my life and one I will never forget. If you’re seeing this, thank you for being a part of it 🥰

I started back to work full time this week in a role that I absolutely love and a company that rocks! That being said, I’m not going to make it to the Bridgeport Farmers Market tomorrow (09/06). Still trying to get my timing down to make sure everything is fresh.

With that in mind, I’ve always been invested in my career which has lagged since Covid hit. Baking bread was always my very enjoyable and satisfying ‘side hustle’ if you will. I believe this might be my last year as a baker. Opening the shop in Shinnston and not being successful was a journey unto itself. Long hours, little to no return and so on, as many small business experience. I have many passions, sewing and weaving are my favorites that I left behind and want to resurrect, they bring me peace, satisfaction and happiness.

That being said, if anyone would like to continue this small business (recipes, training and lots of experience) please reach out. It’s quite successful (monetarily and satisfactorily) during Market Season. Guys, I’m just worn out and looking for a schedule that fits for me and my old ass… 😊

We are back tomorrow at Bridgeport Farmers Market (08/23)! We completely missed out on Fridays night market in order to prepare for Sundays market. Looks like we missed out on the fun but maybe we’ll make it to the next one! We haven’t started with our fall flavors yet, but we’re ramping up for September to roll those out. Just trying to squeeze a couple more weeks out of summer 🌞☀️

Ok ya’ll, we will be set up at Bridgeport Farmers Market tomorrow (08/16). The forecast isn’t looking the best but we know that can change in a matter of minutes, so we’re hoping for best case scenario! We are scaling back some with our inventory. It’s tough to calculate product levels and throwing the weather into the mix is pretty much impossible 🤷🏻‍♀️. So, please message if you’d like something set aside. We’ll see you tomorrow! 🌧️☂️☀️🌞

We are back baby!! Tomorrow we’ll be set up at Bridgeport Farmers Market (BFM2), our one and only market 😊

We’ve missed all your faces, conversations, silly moments, dog watching, vendor camaraderie, good smells, sunshine and so much more last week! I’d like to say I had severe FOMO (fear of missing out) even though I’m pretty sure that phrase is now old school 😂

French Bread will be back along with Sourdough (original, jalapeno cheddar & garlic herb) and all your other favorites! Garlic & Herb Sun Bread is now in our summer rotation ☀️🧄🍞
