📣 It’s time to make the long-overdue announcement official: Kersten Cakes & Bakes is closing up shop! 📣

We truly appreciate every single person and family who allowed us the privilege of baking for them. ❤️ We’ve created so many beautiful things, for so many incredible people over the past couple years; and could not be more grateful for this amazing journey.

Baking from scratch, and sharing delicious treats with our community will always have a special place in our heart! 🥰 We will be keeping this page up to post our backlog of cake photos, as well as share our baking experiments and endeavors. We look forward to what the future may hold, and hope you’ll follow along! 🫶

We will of course be keeping our word, and completing all of the orders pre-placed with us on their scheduled dates throughout the year as agreed upon. If you have any questions of concerns with an order you’ve placed, please feel free to reach out to us via email at [email protected] .

Another day, another precious Valentine’s vibe February birthday cake 🥹❤️

2 8” layers of our moist Cherry-Soaked Chocolate’ cake, filled with sweet black cherries, and wrapped in our decadent ‘Mock Cream Cheese’ buttercream 🤤🍫🍒

The CUTEST groovy matching cakes for a babygirl’s birthday party 🌼💗

Each cake is in our specialty flavor ‘Strawberry Shortcake’: moist, golden vanilla cake; filled with a fresh strawberry preserve compote; and wrapped in our signature creamy vanilla buttercream. 🤤🍓

January has been such a fun month of baking, with so many adorable cake designs 💗 We have loved getting to bake for you all!

We’re almost fully booked for the month of February! 😱 You guys are keeping us very busy with custom cake + king cake orders next month, so we will only be accepting a couple more orders. 2 6” layers of our moist lemon cake, filled with a fresh raspberry compote, and wrapped in creamy, lightly sweet ‘Lemon Dream’ buttercream 😍✨ By far one of our most requested flavor combinations, and a personal favorite of ours as well 🤤

We’re only accepting (2) more custom orders for the month of January; and February + March are filling up fast! This beautiful floral cake was such a fun one to do 😍💐 Our client gave us full creative freedom on this design for their mom’s 83rd birthday! They just knew they wanted it to say “Lost Count” and be colorful 😋

The entire cake is edible- decorated with our signature buttercream to create the frills and hand-piped flowers. 2 8” layers of our moist ‘Fresh Strawberry’ cake, paired with our ‘Mock Cream Cheese’ buttercream 🤤🍓

Custom cake orders are officially almost completely full for January-March! This year has barely begun, and we’ve already created some amazing things 😍 We’re so grateful to everyone who enjoys our cakes and baked goods. We appreciate you all for keeping this dream alive!

Bookings are now completely open for custom + signature cakes in 2025! We are almost FULLY booked for cakes in February- so if you know you’ll need a cake for next month, get in touch soon! 2/13 + 2/14 will be king cake and Valentine’s order pickup days only. Our 2025 Valentine’s Day menu will be dropping this week, so stay tuned! 😍👀💗🥰
