Anyone else have two completely consuming special interests?

Mine are science and baking.

Give me a book that explains the chemistry of flavor, the biology of spices, and why certain ingredients belong together, and I’m hooked. I genuinely love understanding the why behind baking almost as much as I love eating it.

I have a feeling this book is going to inspire a lot of new recipes.

Some cookie sets come together quickly… and then there are the ones that keep saying, “Just one more detail.” This was definitely one of those sets, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I absolutely love how they turned out!

One thing I’ve learned over the last five years is that businesses grow and evolve.

When I first created my logo, Schlosser’s Sweet Treats was all about decorated sugar cookies. Since then, it’s grown into so much more with sourdough, scones, sweet breads, cinnamon rolls, cookies, cookie classes, and more.

I wasn’t ready for a complete rebrand (I have way too many labels already!), but I wanted something that better represents everything I bake. So here’s a little refresh for the items that aren’t sugar cookies.

Same business. Same quality. Just a label that grows with the business.

Now I need your honest opinion… is it still recognizable as Schlosser’s Sweet Treats?
