Thank you all so much for the support you gave us this season during these hard COVID times!

What a beautiful day it was yesterday to receive a trunk full of donations from three hard-working and dedicated ladies. Even COVID didn't slow down their booth at the Farmer's Market as they faithfully sold their breads, cookies and crafts. This year they did all of this in memory of their great grandmother, Marjorie Fetzer. Named Roobahloos, they asked for donations to our shelter and also took money they raised to buy us more supplies. This is the second year in a row that these entrepreneurs have blessed us with donations. We hope they have a wonderful senior year and are thankful for their kindness and support.

We are excited to announce that we will be attending the Shelbyville Farmers Market June 6, 2020! Here is some of the stuff we’ve been making over time.

Thank you to all the customers that helped us raise money for these animals who really need it. This cause was very important to us and we are very passionate about giving these animals a second chance. We appreciate the donations and all the purchases you made all season.

Bailey (left) and her best friend Anna just blessed the shelter with donations for our pets! These young ladies who are still in high school sold items at the Farmer's Market and their brand was called Roo-bah-loo. Their specialty was zucchini breads of all flavors. Anna who lives in Shelby County and her family have adopted from our shelter in the past and Bailey, who lives in Bartholomew County has adopted from Bright Hope. They took all their sale money and helped several other shelters too. They hope to do it again next year. Thank you to both of these young ladies who exemplify what it means to give back. We are so proud of you!
