Having walked many 1000+ acre wheat fields out west over the years, I'm still amazed how idyllic wheat farming is in the Champlain Valley. We are lucky. This is not normal

Our first bake in our adopted town of Charlotte, VT was July 3rd 2019. Philo Ridge Farm graciously allowed us to set up in their farm store and helped introduce our whole grain breads to our new community. Thank you for being such great, welcoming neighbors from the start

To celebrate, this Saturday morning, we'll be joining farmers Tom and David Kenyon, of Nitty Gritty Grain/Aurora Farms, for a walk in the fields to see this years Redeemer and our experimental variety Aurora 1109. An excellent opportunity to see where your wheat comes from, and to learn about the long process from planting in the fall to harvesting in the summer. Email [email protected] for more details
