After 10+ incredible years, it’s time for me to share something bittersweet… Sweet Treats is officially coming to an end. 🩷
This business started as something I never could have imagined—an idea that began with a purpose bigger than baking. Ten years ago, Sweet Treats was born out of a mission to help raise money for a trip to Haiti, and what started as a simple fundraiser turned into a decade of late nights, early mornings, and more memories than I can count.
Over the years, I truly believe we’ve donated well over $50,000 to both local and global missions, and I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for every single person who supported an order, shared a post, told a friend, or showed up for me in any way. You didn’t just support a small business—you helped support causes and communities that mattered deeply.
Sweet Treats also gave me something I never expected: friendships, connections, and a sense of community I’ll carry with me forever. I’ve loved supporting other local businesses along the way, building relationships, and being part of something so special here in our area.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your gender reveals, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and all of your special occasions. It has been such an honor to create something sweet for the moments that matter most.
And now… it’s time for a new chapter.
In the last few years, I stepped into something I never anticipated—teaching high school Culinary Arts—and I can honestly say it has become a dream come true. I feel so blessed to get to do what I truly believe I was born to do in my lifetime. I’m ready to lean into that calling, pour into my students, and focus my time and energy on helping them learn, grow, and build their own futures.
So yes… it’s the end of an era, and I’m feeling all the emotions. But I also feel peace, gratitude, and excitement for what’s ahead.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you for 10 amazing years of love, support, and sweetness. ❤️
This business will always be a part of me.
With love,
Amanda 💕
