It's our Community Story Post of the Week! This one seemed so unique to us and we think it is wonderful how people bring history to life. Read on...

Sheboygan County Museum is bringing local history to life this Friday through Sunday, September 4–6, with its Plank Road Rendezvous. Reenactors will demonstrate blacksmithing, cloth dyeing, rope-making, weaving and campfire cooking, alongside hands-on games and talks—including one about Jacques Vieau, Sheboygan’s first documented fur trader. Best of all, admission to the museum and the entire event is free for the weekend.

Rain or shine, the music is ON today at Willow Falls of Johnsonville! 🎶🌿

If the weather cooperates, we’ll be outside enjoying Music in the Biergarten. If the rain rolls in, we’ll simply move the party inside to the Fireside Lounge.

The Gathering Place turned a car show into care — The Gathering Place held its brat fry and car show in Sheboygan Falls, with everything from a 1942 Harley-Davidson WLA to classic Corvettes on display. The important part, though, is why: the event raised money for The Gathering Place and Memory Matters programming, which supports people affected by memory loss and their families. Our hearts go out to families with loved ones affected by this and we just wanted to salute The Gathering Place for the work they do.

Come grab a drink, find a comfortable spot, and settle in for Music in the Biergarten at Willow Falls of Johnsonville this Saturday. We're bringing back the Brew Brothers and Sister band by popular demand! We'll be outdoors if the weather is good - which it is supposed to be. Moving inside if it decides to rain - which would be just fine too since we need it around here.

Good music, cold drinks, gardens to wander, and a place to simply sit a spell with friends and say Hi to our resident butterflies.

Come for the music. Stay because you’re not quite ready to leave.
