Update on Stephanie:
Stephanie's first surgery on her right hip was completed successfully yesterday. The doctor found more issues than initially thought, which required four small incisions instead of two. As a result, the second surgery won’t be scheduled until after her two-week post-operative check-up.

Physical therapy is set to begin on Thursday, with sessions taking place twice a week for at least six weeks. Stephanie is currently experiencing a considerable amount of pain and fatigue. She can put up to 50% of her weight on her right leg, only allowing her to move around using crutches and a walker. We have transformed the bakery storage/craft room into a temporary bedroom to avoid the need for stairs, given that the master bedroom is on the second floor.

We will update again within the days and weeks to come. Please keep her family in your thoughts.
Her family is also down to one income now, as well as Jordan (her husband) taking numerous days off for her surgery and her recovery. We all know she can’t wait to be back, not only to support her family but, to bring you all delicious desserts and smiles on your faces with her custom cookies and cakes.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to personally share an update with all of our amazing customers and supporters.
Some of you may be aware of my fall down our concrete basement steps a few years ago. Since then I’ve been trying to convince doctors that something was actually wrong. After dozens of doctor visits, several sets of xrays, allergic reaction to steroid shots, and 3 MRI’s, we finally found answers.
That being said…

Over the next few weeks, I will be undergoing two hip surgeries. Followed by 6–9 months of physical therapy as I work on healing and walking on my own two feet again. During this time, our storefront will be temporarily closed.
I truly hate having to step away, but taking the time to recover properly is important so I can come back stronger.
Any orders already on our calendar are secure. During recovery, I may still accept a small number of custom orders, but availability will be limited.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Your support, patience, and kindness mean more to me than you know. I am so grateful for this incredible community that has supported my small business and my family over the last 10 years.
Thank you for understanding and keeping my family and I in your thoughts and prayers in this journey ahead. I look forward to reopening and seeing you all again once I'm healed.

We know, we’ve all heard it before, “Valentine’s Day is just a Hallmark holiday”.

But ask yourself when’s the last time you showed your loved one how much they mean to you? Don’t they deserve something special?
