A few of our bakery must-haves after countless batches of sourdough, cinnamon rolls, cookies + everything in between:

🥖 King Arthur Bread Flour — our ride-or-die flour
⚖️ A food scale — because “close enough” unfortunately does not apply for baking
🧺 Bannetons — helping our loaves keep their shape prior to baking
👩‍🍳 Aprons — essential for flour fights
🥣 Our stand mixer — permanently working overtime
🛒 And, of course, the Costco membership… because nothing says “we own a bakery” quite like pushing that orange flatbed cart stacked with flour, butter & sugar

From the bakery to the classroom! 🍞📚✨

We had such a wonderful time participating in Gloria Willis Middle School & PREP-KC ‘s Career Jumping Day, where we got to speak with KCK 6th graders about what it’s like to build & run a local, female-owned small business.

We had multiple 8-minute speed rounds with students where we shared a little about the story behind Eb & Flo Bread Co., what goes into running a microbakery, & how an idea and a love for something you’re passionate about l can grow into something much bigger!! 🥖💛

It was so fun to spend time with local students, answer their curious questions, & give them a glimpse into entrepreneurship as a possible career path.

Thank you to Gloria Willis Middle School & PREP-KC for inviting us to be part of such a fun day — we loved getting to share a little bit of our Shawnee, KS business with the next generation of dreamers and doers! 🫶

Last year, you completely SOLD US OUT — and this year, you nearly did it again! 🤩

We are so incredibly thankful for every person who stopped by our booth, grabbed a loaf (or two 🍞), tried something new, told a friend about us, or simply came by to say hello!!
