Fresh sourdough deserves a little TLC 🍞✨

Since our loaves are made fresh without preservatives, proper storage makes all the difference in keeping that crust crisp and the inside soft and flavorful.

A few quick tips:
• Store in a cool, dry place
• Avoid refrigerating — it can dry bread out faster
• Slice & freeze extras for easy future portions
• Revive a stale loaf with a little water + oven heat

Whether you’re making toast, sandwiches, or sneaking slices straight from the counter, we want every loaf to taste as fresh as possible 🫶

One week until returns for the season ✨

It’s hard to believe this market was our very first farmers market last summer. We showed up with fresh sourdough, nervous excitement, and no idea just how much this community would come to mean to us.

Over the past year, Mission Market has introduced us to so many familiar faces, conversations, and relationships that have become such a special part of Eb & Flo Bread Co.

We’re so excited to be back for another season — and this year at a new location!

The ovens are officially back on. 🍞☀️

After taking a short summer break for E’s dance recital, a trip to NE for a wedding, & to rest/reset, Eb & Flo is back in the kitchen and officially accepting orders again.

We’re feeling incredibly grateful to return to home bakery, prep for starting next week and the rhythm of baking fresh sourdough for this community!

Thank you for your patience while we stepped away for a breather!

Orders are now open via our website and we can’t wait to bake for you again 👩🏽‍🍳🥖🤍

A few things that make traditional sourdough special:
🤍 Long fermentation helps develop deep flavor & may make bread easier to digest
🤍 Sourdough can have a lower glycemic impact than many conventional breads
🤍 Fermentation helps unlock nutrients naturally found in grains
🤍 No preservatives or shortcuts — just flour, water, salt, and time

After a whirlwind week of FOUR events, our ovens are officially taking a much-needed little break 🥖✨

We’ll be spending the next couple of days resting, resetting, feeding our starters, and getting ready for the Mission Market season kickoff, First Fridays in the Crossroads, and SO much more!

Thank you, Kansas City, for keeping us busy in the very best way. 🫶
