Unfortunately my Fall floral delivery was delayed and did not get here in time for the Event.....SO... I HAVE DECIDED TO HAVE A FALL OPEN HOUSE PART II!

Job Title: Shopkeeper/Pastry Prep
Part time with possibility of full time.
Immediate to 2-week start
Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 8-2 Must be available for extra hours during holidays/busy seasons.
Some Sundays and Mondays required.
Biweekly paycheck on Tuesday
4 weeks probationary period
$12 hr to start for 3 months
Paid lunch break

We are looking for a friendly and efficient Bakery Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing friendly customer service, assisting with the preparation and finishing of pastries, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace and retail shop. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
If you like people, pastries and keeping busy, this may just be the job position for you!

Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
* Take and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Assist with the final assembly, glazing, and decorative finishing of pastries to ensure they are presentation-ready for the display case.
* Prepare and finish pastries according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following all health and safety guidelines.
* Ring in transactions via POS system.
* Handle cash and process payments accurately.
* Answer phone calls and provide information about our products.
* Describe food items to customers in a clear and appealing manner.
*Complete tasks such as sweeping, dusting, cleaning windows.
* Construct boxes and package products for sale.
* Create retail displays for our craft and home decor
* Other tasks as instructed

Qualifications:
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
* Basic math and money-handling skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
* Must be minimum of 18 years of age. Pastry prep requires minimal use of mixer and oven.
