I specialize in wedding cakes and celebration cakes. ABOUT ME: I am self taught. I am not a store front. I am one person. One kitchen. Although I love to bake, cakes are only a hobby to me at this point. I work a “normal” job 40+ hours a week and am also a busy wife and mom of two boys. While I do take a lot of orders and try my best to accommodate last minute orders, I recommend ordering 3 weeks
to one month ahead of your event/party and at least 2-3 months prior to your wedding. If you wait until the week of or a few days before, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to accommodate. I do not take same day orders. Fridays and Saturdays are my busiest days and dates are limited. The majority of orders are picked up evenings or Saturday mornings before 11am. I currently do not offer Sunday pick-ups, that is our family day. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 24-48 HOURS FOR A RESPONSE TO MESSAGE
HOW TO ORDER:
Quotes on celebration cakes and cupcakes are valid for 48 hours. Wedding cake quotes are valid for 7 days. By requesting and receiving a quote, please understand that does not mean that your date is secured. Until pricing is agreed upon, a deposit is paid and/or until I confirm that you are scheduled your date is not secured. Orders may require a deposit. I cannot give a quote for a cake without knowing the design & number of servings. I would be happy to give you an estimate by private message, email or telephone if you know what flavors you like, an idea of the design, an inspiration picture and number of servings. ALLERGEN WARNING: We currently do not offer gluten free, egg free or dairy free. Be advised that your cake may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, tree nuts and/or peanuts, soy, and other potential allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold “Allison Makes Cakes” harmless for allergic reactions
ADULT and/or RISQUE CAKES: If I wouldn't show it to my mom, I am not going to bake it. WEDDING CAKES - Wedding Cake consultations are available for a $25 fee. This must be paid prior to the appointment date. This consultation is for you and one guest. There is a $10 fee for each additional guest with a limit of four people total. You may choose up to 4 cake/frosting flavors you would like to try prior to the consultation. I do not provide fillings to sample during the consultation. RESERVING YOUR WEDDING CAKE DATE: To reserve the date of your wedding, we require 50% deposit of the cake cost. We DO NOT hold a date for you until the deposit has been received! We must receive the balance by the due date indicated or else the contract is null and void, cake will not be made and deposit will not be refunded. The date of your final payment is also the final date for any changes of size, style or flavors of the cake. We can add additional servings but will not go smaller than the agreed upon size. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
