For my loyal customers, this is why I am no longer open on the square. In October the building I was in was bought by Jim Gillespie who promised me and the seller that things would not change much. Without that promise there would have been no sale. After paying rent for October and November, while forced to close any walk-in business due to COVID, Jim came to me and told me that everything that I was promised wasn't going to happen. I would be shut down for at least 6 months, even though I had contracts with couples for their weddings. In addition to that, my rent was going to more than double. So I packed up at the end of January. I've done my best to fully satisfy my contracts with the help of Christopher's Catering letting me use their kitchen. HUGE THANK YOU to them! I don't know what the future holds. I've still been doing cakes for friends and family at my home and hope to have a new building soon.
