Thanks for all those sending deposits for May 1st. We have been having a few people have issues sending zelle. We have contacted our bank, but will not be able to speak to anyone until Monday day. If people are having issues and want to hold off until next week, we will hopefully have a resolution. Not everyone is having an issue. Feel free to contact us if you have questions or concerns.

It is cold, but the sun is out! A walk to work kind of day. Prepping Breezes for our brave ice fisherman arriving tomorrow. It will be 🥶 these next few days. If it was me, I would be curled up on that couch in front of the wood stove.

Cherrybank is all tucked in for the winter, but we are still open! Who was waiting to take that winter weekend getaway? We got 15+ inches of snow this past weekend and that means all the winter sport possibilities! Skiing, snowshoe, cross country ski, snow mobile tours. Ripplebay and Westward are available this weekend, Breezes next weekend. We rent for 2 + nights and have early arrival and late checkout during the off season. Can't come that soon? Ask us about our February and March openings. They are booking up quickly.

Thanksgiving in the mountains turned into winter for our guests. We woke up to this fun snowman family they left for us. For most, these would disappear this week, but more snow expected tomorrow and it will probably be here until April.

Breezes, Ripplebay and Westward are all available for winter. Reservations are coming in for those who already know so if you're on the fence, book it today! Start your winter tradition here at Lake Paradox Club.

Kathy Hochul has signed into law- Short term rentals are required to collect and pay NYS sales tax. Effective immediately, this will be added to all Guests bills.

A little story on NCPR about Lake Paradox Club. I have a solid core memory of feeling the squishy pine needle-rich mud from the driveway on my feet. The softness of the needles everywhere and the cool of their shade and the fear of their height. What are some of our guests' core memories? I was recently dubbed "the keeper of memories", but it is this place that keeps memories. Keeping Lake Paradox Club going, means these memories live on in the past, present and future generations.

Unfortunately, we will be putting away the firepit on the beach for the foreseeable future. Guests should use extreme caution using charcoal grills and please do not dump any ashes.

BURN BAN IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF ESSEX COUNTY

PUBLIC NOTICE: A BURN BAN will be in effect Tuesday, August 12, 2025 starting at 12:00pm for all of Essex County. This is in response to a prolonged period of dry weather, creating high risk of fire danger in Essex County. This burn ban will extend for 5 days unless rescinded or extended.
