I totally forgot to open the bakery doors before I left the house very early this morning. The door is now open, but we only have five cookies left. You guys bought us clean out yesterday. Once those five are gone, I will shut the doors for good. We will have a lot of stuff for sale including the shed, but that won’t be until next week when it cools down

💔 A HARD GOODBYE TO DOWN HOME BAKERY ON 154 💔

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make. Sadly, we’ve made the decision to close the bakery.

A year and a half ago, we turned a crazy little idea into a roadside bakery, and we are so thankful for every person who stopped, purchased a treat, shared a post, or supported us. ❤️

But with more and more businesses offering the same sweet treats in our area, there simply aren’t enough customers and dollars to make the amount of work sustainable.

This isn’t because we stopped loving it. It’s just time to close this chapter.

We’ve traded summer vibes for pumpkins, leaves, and all things cozy—and honestly, we’re not mad about it! 🍁☕️

The bakery is all decorated for fall, and the goodies are ready to go! 🧁🍪🥐 Stop out and grab some of your favorite treats before they disappear… because around here, “I’ll come back later” is usually followed by “Well, shoot… they’re all gone!” 😂

We will be open this weekend! It is the Sesser citywide garage sales (we are not having one this time around) but the bakery will be open!

We will be closed this weekend. It is going to be over 100 without the “feels like” temp and that’s just too much for our little bakery. I hope everyone understands and we will see you next weekend when it is only 90 degrees. lol.

The bakery is sold out!!!!! Door is still open until I get home but it is SOLD OUT. Thank you to everyone for supporting us this weekend 🙂
