I would like to clarify yesterday's post of "just a walk through". This was NOT our new location. We are still in our current location. Apologies for any confusion. We have a lot of new Facebook "followers" and the intention was just a quick walk through of our current location. We do NOT have a date for the new location yet but it is getting closer! :) All updates will be shared so stay tuned! :)

Also - we have started a new Wednesday post called "When The Lights Go Out At Hochstetler's"....Short stories of products and what they "do" after we leave haha. :) Join us with your imagination for some smiles and of course something about a product or recipe or....who knows what! This past Wednesday was Ch. #1 - if you missed it you may want to catch up. ;)

Reminder: We will be closed on Monday, September 7th for Labor Day. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th.

WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT AT HOCHSTETLERS COUNTRY STORE
Chapter 1

As the doors of Hochstetler’s closed and the lights went out Cody Cayenne Pepper gave a snort of frustration which sent out a puff of red pepper dust. Belinda Bilberry looked at him with one eyebrow up… “What is your problem Cody? You have been more than unusually peppery today.” Cody replied, I just thought they would never close. “You know how Wednesday’s are. The truck comes and there is so much hurry and scurry and then Blake and the Merry Maids have to clean up and I have a gig tonight and I’m late! While Cody was speaking he was pulling on his cowboy boots and strapping on his little guitar. Belinda rolled her eyes. "You and your Wednesday night parties. It’s a wonder you are able to get back on the shelf in time for opening the next morning.” Cody Cayenne gave another snort and sent more red peppery dust all over the front of Belinda’s dress. “Cody stop it! I have a social media post tonight and I have to look my best.” Cody said, “I can’t imagine what you are so good for that you are going on social media but best of luck to you.” With that he slapped on his little cowboy hat, jumped down off the shelf and ran into the dim light of the store – no one knows for sure where his gigs are but maybe…under the deli case. Belinda rolled her eyes again and said to herself, “well I AM good for a lot of things and he will find out when he reads the post!”

The electric pole installed and meter in place! PRAISE GOD! Things are moving along...keep the prayers coming! The excitement and support we feel from the community is amazing...thank you so much! Also...big SHOUT OUT to DOLLYS ROOFING! They have given us excellent and dependable dumpster service. Be sure to call on them if you are ever in need of dumpster service!

Tomorrow I will send an update on the new location. Today however....just a picture of the Thankful Thursday Team! 😁 God truly has blessed us with wonderful employees who love God and each other.
