Our sourdough is handmade and thoughtfully fermented over 24hours to unlock flavor, nutrition, and digestibility. Hi, Welcome to Bee In Your Bonnet! I'm Tracy, I love to bake and I am so excited to be able to share my passion with you! I run this micro endeavor with help from my daughters. We specialize in Sourdough bread; most of our bread is sourdough but we do make yeasted bread as well. We pla

n a menu each week and try to add new and exciting items to keep things fresh. The menus are posted on Saturday mornings and then we begin to take orders for the upcoming week. (to place an order, just send us a private message or call 210-781-9122 and we will set up an appointment for you)
We do sell out occasionally and if that happens and you are not able to get on the schedule, don't fret! We always try to make some "Extra" items and we post them around 10:30 AM on pick-up days. They are on a first come first serve basis for same-day pick up. Our pick-up days are typically on Fridays from 3 PM to 6 PM. We will occasionally adjust times and days so please follow us to keep in the know. We love the "simple" life and sometimes post recipes and tips that we have found useful or informative, we hope that you enjoy them too. We accept cash, credit, and debit cards. For larger orders, we request a deposit. Feel free to message us with questions, we are always happy to talk about bread!

Out of an abundance of caution, we will remain closed. We are not going to take orders for this upcoming week.

There will be no menu tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the City of Seguin has not completed the work on our street, and we are slated to be next along the work route. My concern is that they will be working on Friday when we have pick up, or that I may not be able to get in and out during the week to pick up supplies, etc.

The plan is to remain closed for one more week and return on June 27th with our Independence Day menu. Pick up is planned for Friday, July 3rd, between 3 and 6 PM.

I am sorry to be away for such an extended period. But on a positive note, it gives me time to prepare the menu for the 4th of July treats!

On the menu, we are planning to have:

Hi there, today is shaping up to be a little different, and we are doing our best to stay positive!

The city of Seguin has decided to tear up our beautiful, newly paved road to do some waterworks. There is a lot of gravel on the road, and as of right now, Krezdorn is impassable from the Austin Street side. You will have to come in off Guadalupe or use the side streets to take you to Goodrich to get to West Krezdorn for pick up today.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

Should they tear up the road in front of my house, I can walk your orders to the church parking lot. Please do not fret, we will get that bread to you! I have been working hard baking it for you!

Please reach out via text or call at 210-781-9122 to order extras or if you have difficulty when you arrive to pick up today. Fingers crossed that they are finished with our piece of the road by then, and we will all live happily ever after!

Oh yay! It's pick up day!

Today is pick up day for those of you who placed orders for pick-up on Friday, June 12th. Pick up is curbside between 3 and 6 PM.

Pick up is located at 322 West Krezdorn St, in beautiful downtown Seguin. When you see the "Bee" sign, you will know you are in the right spot!

If you are pulling in from Guadalupe St., please turn around in the church parking lot to orient yourself so that your passenger door is closest to the picket gate. This helps us load your packages into your passenger side door.

We have some "extra" items available for same day pick up, and we will post those at 1030 sharp.

Be advised that our pickup times are between 3 and 6 PM today.

Please be mindful of the neighbors and do not block their driveways.

Please remain in your vehicle and refrain from pulling into the driveway.
Call or text 210-781-9122 to let us know that you are here and we will be out with your order directly. Signs will be out to help guide you through the process.

Well, this right here is a show stopper!

Our Loaded Corn Bread is so pretty to look at, and it tastes amazing!

Sweet honey cornbread with Feta and Jalapenos baked in. Topped with fresh, thinly sliced Jalapenos, fresh corn kernels, sliced green onions, and finished with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. All your guests will be coming back for seconds!

Available on our special holiday menu posting on June 27th, with pick up on July 3rd. Just in time for the festivities!

Here is our menu for the week of June 8th, with curbside pickup on Friday, June 12th, between 3 and 6 PM.

Let's start off with the star of our show this week, our Loaded Cornbread with Jalapenos & Feta. This loaf makes quite an entrance when you slide her on the table of your next BBQ or summer supper al fresco! Made with Jalapenos and Feta in the cornbread itself, then topped with a delectable mix of fresh jalapenos, feta cheese, freshly shucked sweet corn kernels, and green onions.
You will want a fork to scoop up all this goodness!

We have some of your favorite loaves this week: Garden Pepper & Cheese, Honey Whole Wheat, Rosemary Parmesan, and Peanut Butter & Jelly.

Yes, it's Peanut Butter & Jelly time! We are running a summer combo with our PB&J Artisan Sourdough and a box of Brown Butter Cookies for $23

We have our White Cheddar Pecan Sourdough Crackers, perfect along with a glass of wine on the back porch on these balmy nights.

Or maybe some Cinnamon Morning Buns with all their goodness alongside your morning coffee.

Or perhaps a breakfast sammy made with any of our Artisan Sourdough breads or our English Muffin Bread? We've got you covered!

Make sure to get your orders in early. We can only make so many items, and once they are gone, they are gone!

Who's ready to talk meal prep?!

As some of you may know, I am an avid meal prepper and a general type A personality. I always like to think ahead and make things easier on myself. One of my favorite things on the planet is my FoodSaver. I am not a huge fan of plastic, but in this instance, these packs are a lifesaver!

So what we have going on here is freezer packs that will save me time later. I had a pretty good celery harvest this year, so I finely chopped the celery, some carrots, and onions, and created my own Mirepoix freezer packs. I also made some with just celery. All ready to go when I need them for soups etc. It just saves a step when you are making supper, and I am here for that!

I also tried the Pasta Pomodoro packs that have been going around online. They include garden cherry tomatoes, fresh garden basil, spinach, and about 5 garlic cloves. The theory is that you saute everything in a skillet with some olive oil, maybe a squeeze of lemon, and then add your al dente pasta and a dab of pasta water. Creating a fresh, vibrant but light pasta supper in a flash.

Lastly, I made ramen packs. I do these quite often, especially when I have veg that I need to use in the fridge. These can be added to boiling water when you are cooking your ramen noodles. A nice upgrade if you ask me.
These include sliced bella mushrooms (obviously, you can use sh*take or any other that you prefer), spinach, bok choy, spring onion, and parsley. But hey, these are totally customizable, use what you love!

I am not sure this appeals to you, but it sure makes my little, organized heart sing!

Good morning! I am working on the menu this morning, and just a reminder that it will post at 1030 AM here on FB and on Instagram.

Also, that sourdough bread makes everyone's day brighter! Breakfast of champions right here!

I have updated the menu and pick-up dates for the next 3 months on the website. Please check them out if you are unsure of when to order and pick up bread.

We will have an extra menu date in June to allow for 4th of July orders. We will have pull-apart breads, yeast rolls, cinnamon roll trays, and probably some sourdough buns like the Briote and your favorite loaves. I wanted to give you planners a heads up when planning your menus.
