A customer wanted a small personal ombre birthday cake and I made it happen. 2 Two laers were vanilla, 1 was almond and the fourth layer was strawberry.

Graduation season continues and I had the pleasure of making this high school seniors 2 layer sheetcake, treats and decorations. I give my customer's cake care instruction. However they sometimes forget and the buttercream reacts to the heat as in these pictures.

This past weekend was filled with Minnie Mouse! 6 inch strawberry cake with fresh strawberries filling, vanilla and chocolate cupcakes and treats. And yes it was another hit but most of all, the 3 year old birthday girl was ecstatic!!

This past weekend I had the honor of baking and decorating a memorial/repass cake for a customer's mother who passed away. I was goven full creative control so I decide to do a heart cake with her mother's photos, favorite color and favorite things. The top of the cake raed "Forever in our hearts."

A side-by-side comparison of fondant-covered cakes from 2018 and 2024 reveals significant progress. The 2018 cake was crafted for a baby shower, whereas the 2024 cake was designed for a birthday party. It is crucial to continually hone one's skills.

This wasn't my usual fluffy smooth buttercream. While in Charlotte, I got a request to make a birthday cake 18 hours before the birthday dinner. I only had minimal decorating tools at my mother's but the customer said she just wanted one of my cakes. They miss them now that I live in Tampa. Cake was still cute and she loved it!
