Was commissioned to make themed macarons for a little girl’s birthday celebration. She asked her momma for “Taylor Swift Mermaid” theme. The entire time I have “trouble..trouble.. trouble” playing in my head.

Was given the challenge to create legend of Zelda and video game themed birthday macarons for a beautiful 9 yo boy. Thank goodness for my own little guys to give me pointers. Momma played Zelda on a Gameboy in the 90s. Really wish Tetris would make a comeback. Have been having a low grade hand tremor lately, hope it’s a temporary thing. All the powder/gels and shimmery powders from Cakeman Dave My favorite thing is putting on blush on the little macaron faces.

Pacific salmon themed lemon-passion fruit cake with Italian buttercream for my “fish in the sea “ 50th. Really should have paid a visit to the Cakeman Dave Home Cake Decorating Supply Co.. but the pans and the colors are from him.

Slowly finding solace in baking again since dad left. Just wish I could bake for his birthday too, just once more.

2 hours to my first farmers market of the season. Kids begged me to do it, never thought I’d bake like this again. So happy I did. I guess you don’t have to be happy to bake, baking makes you happy.

Made some needled-felted macaron earrings to sell too.

Niece requested these characters macarons. I have no idea what Skzoo is. I am someone who would think “K-pop” is a toaster pastry, and BTS is a bacon tomato sandwich.

I made Melody and hello kitty for her as well with the left over batter. It’s her turn not knowing what the heck those are.

Might not be the coolest auntie, but impressed a 14 yo. That’s something.
