Okay, we need to talk for a minute because there is something I *need* you to hear. A while ago I posted about changing our schedule in order to spend more time with family. A lot of you already know what was going on, for those that don’t, my mother in law Elva, who was a lot more like my second mom, passed away last week after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. It’s a hard loss, she was the heart of our family, but you all gave me the most incredible gift, the gift of time. These last few months I was able to be there with her so often, to go to her doctors appointments, to sit beside her in the hospital, and to help her live out the rest of her life at home with family. Caring for her in her last months has been one of the greatest honors of my life. And you gave me that. I never would have been able to do that with a traditional 9-5 job, but because you all hung in there through the changes, graciously understood when I couldn’t take your events, and continued to support this small business with your purchases, social media shares, and kind words, I was able to be there. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We are spending some time with family right now, but when things settle down, I have something special planned to say thank you.
