My babies had big milestones over the last few months. Charlye Kate turned 1 in a blink, Campbell is now a teenager at 13, and Cooper pulled in the driveway as a 16 year old. My heart is heavy because time moves so fast and joyful because it is an honor to raise them.

Cody and I don’t deserve the rich blessings of these children or the friends and family who love them right along with us. How beautiful is God’s sovereignty. 🤣🧡🧡🧡

We celebrated my sweet grandmother this week. She passed away before my husband and children could meet her. But my boys look forward to shelling peas together like my Momma Rogers and I would do. She taught me to be like Jesus, have patience, and love people all while we cleaned house, played games, and shelled peas. That’s discipleship. TRUE DISCIPLESHIP. It happens WHILE you do life together.

This pea season was extra special for us with our little girl. She couldn’t she’ll them yet but she chewed on them. 🥰 Next year she’ll be able to shell a few and listen to stories about her namesake. Thank you LORD for the wonderful gift of my Momma Rogers. 🧡🧡🧡

We have been MIA for a while but with good reason… Cody and I are expecting a wee little baby right before Thanksgiving. 👶🏼🧡

A few weeks after getting home from Africa, I was very sick and we didn’t know why. When we finally realized I was pregnant, I was already 12 weeks along. It’s taken us a long time to wrap our heads around it all because it was a complete shock. However, I know GOD IS SO, SO GOOD! He most assuredly has big plans for this little baby.

Cody wants to find out the gender at delivery and we haven’t settled on names still. 😂

I don’t know exactly what that looks like for our business but I know we’ll be back at it when our routine settles in. And while we’ve slowed WAY down, we’ve still made some awesome cookies, just haven’t put them on social media.

Our boys are 14 and 11 so it’s been a while. 🤦🏼‍♀️ They also are excited! Cooper and I want a boy (and we’re in the vast minority), Campbell wants a girl, and Cody wants an easy baby haha. Pray for us as we start over 🤪

Today my friends and I were welcomed into the beautiful homes of Kagugube. We shared our stories, hugged, prayed, and laughed! When I see this photo, I see the beauty in their lives. It’s a simple life but full in a way that mine isn’t.

This is Tony, the owner of a barber shop. Cody emphatically told him the good news of Jesus and Tony believed!! Then we told him how he is going to be able to share the gospel in a unique way because as a barber, he has a captive audience. That was my favorite part of being a hairdresser, being able to minister to hurting people. You have an unique opportunity too. Do you know what it is?

I’d love to introduce my new friend, Immaculate. She learned who Jesus is today and is now born again. She owns the shop we’re standing in front of and as we left her today to share with someone else, she was closing her store to tell her friend Harriet about the Jesus that just changed her life! She couldn’t wait until the end of the work day, she didn’t care about potential loss of income, she knows time and money are fleeting but Jesus is not. What a beautiful name, Immaculate. Now she is walking in that name. Thank you Jesus, you’ve washed us, clean, immaculate!

We are in Uganda! CaraBeth, Cody and I are out of pocket for a while we share the good news of Jesus. While we’re gone, please pray for us. Pray for the people we encounter and those well serve alongside that have committed their lives to the gospel! We’ve already met such beautiful people and seen many accept Jesus. We’re working with and so proud of the serious discipleship movement going on here. It’s earth shattering.

Ok these puppies are way too cute! And I know where to get them!!! Our friend’s sweet doggo had 9 precious aussiedoodle puppies on February 6! All 9 are available for adoption in a few weeks.❤️ DM me for more information. Mom is a b/w standard Parti Poodle (45 pounds) Dad is a red merle small standard Australian Shepherd (50 pounds)
