Hello everyone. I hope that you can make it out to the Weborg 21 Centre this Saturday, January 24th to help us raise some money to support medical expenses for our friend Gary Uhrich . If you’ve ever danced at a wedding, prom, or event and thought “this DJ is incredible,” chances are that was DJ Gary.

Gary Uhrich, owner of The DJ Music System and a valued member of the Weborg 21 team, is well loved throughout the DJ and events community for keeping dance floors packed and capturing unforgettable moments of guests having the time of their lives. From local proms to weddings and celebrations, Gary has helped create memories for so many in our community.

Gary is also the heart behind our annual Bridal Show — an event we made the difficult decision to pause this year due to his absence, which speaks volumes about how much he means to our team and our events.

Gary is currently undergoing cancer treatment, and while he focuses on healing, we want to show up for him the same way he has shown up for so many others.

On Saturday, January 24th, join us for a night of live music and a silent auction where 100% of the proceeds will go directly to support Gary. Enjoy live performances by Judd Hoos and Jessie G, with Projekt 3D opening the evening. We are incredibly grateful to Projekt 3D for donating their time to help make this night possible.

If you’ve ever worked with Gary, attended an event he DJ’d, been part of a prom he ran, or simply know the impact he has made — this is a meaningful way to give back.

After a week of contemplating, reading messages, taking phone calls and listening to all of my customers'overwhelming support.. I have decided that I will be keeping Cloud 9 CaKery going for as long as you will have me.
However, please forgive me in advance if I turn down an order. I have a daughter in High School and my nieces are into sports like no other and I am a proud aunt. I also have a Grandson who is 6 months old and gosh what a blessing he is.
Also, please bear with me if there are price changes. The cost of ingredients is rising and I've only risen my prices twice in 15 years.
Each order will be taken on a case by case basis, but please don't hesitate to ask.
For the first time in 15 years I am going to put my family holidays and vacations first. I am SO VERY GRATEFUL for the support and love that I have felt this week. It really means a lot to me to know I am valued and appreciated.

To all of my friends, customers and supporters; It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that as of today, 11/16/2025, I will be stepping back and no longer taking any special orders or catering events. My current space does not allow me to provide a product that I am proud of, and because of that I have to close up shop.
15 years ago, my sister and I attended a wedding and came up with a plan to provide the most unique and beautiful cakes and cupcakes that we could. Over the years we have catered large events such as The Cattlemen's Ball of Nebraska, Inc., we were featured in Nebraska Life Magazine and The Star-Herald. We have done interviews on the news and raised thousands of dollars through fundraisers for Epilepsy Awareness. I am very proud of what we have built together and as I type it hurts very much to remember everything we have done. My little mixers have made over 20,000 cupcakes in 15 years and that is nothing short of amazing. Together Katie and I created over 180 different flavors of cupcakes. I don't know any other bakery who has accomplished this feat. This has been an amazing and successful adventure and we want to thank all of you for your support and confidence in us over the last 15 years to make your special days more memorable. Thank you so much for the memories. We will not soon forget any of you.

I'm going to start selling my new gourmet cookies next week! I'm starting out with an introductory price of $3.00 each with a minimum order of 6 cookies. $18 for 6 and $36 for 12. Think Crumble but LOCAL! Watch for the order drop! Peanut Butter and Jelly, Red Velvet, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles and Lemon Cream Cheese all available next week! A couple of surprises in there too. We can't wait to start this new adventure! 🍪🍪
