One year ago today I was on the phone with a friend. We spent a long time catching up and I told her about an idea I had for an at-home bakery. Being the creative beauty she is, I casually said - "want to create my logo?" Kate being who she is, sent me this within what felt like minutes. A house representing my home bakery. Waves in the frosting because we live near the sea. A heart because she knows what I do is always with love - and her beautiful handwriting in now what is my signature font. She sent me a few versions to use depending on the item and size - but each time I see it - all I think of is how my sweet friend is imprinted on every facet of kbcupcakes. Love you, tiniest unicorn. ❤️

The bakery is on vacay for early school break! Headed to our favorite place courtesy of the BEST Disney planner Theresa Miller-Magic Vacations. Day one was a success - smooth flight, easy check-in, explored via the skyliner and checked out my dream bakery! Pink, unicorns and sparkles - oh my!

Now off to Magic Kingdom!
