I’m SO excited about this one!! 🩷🧡💛💜💚🤍

Okay a couple years ago, I saw these adorable cookie version of the conversation hearts. Last year, I gave it a try and was so proud of how the colors turned out! However, I used my airbrush with the stencil and it made a lot of the letters run. I learned my lesson and used thick royal icing this year.

I ALSO managed to order these “Sweethearts” labels in time. And WOW does that packaging make a difference!!

These are so cute and I’m so proud of how they turned out. I love conversation hearts because they’re so nostalgic for me. I don’t actually like how the real ones taste 🫣 so this vanilla sugar cookie version is perfect 😂

Preorder your Christmas cookie decorating kit! These kits will be available for pickup the first week of December.

Each kit includes:
🍪12 cookies in your choice of flavor (vanilla, chocolate, or snickerdoodle)
🍪4 bags of royal icing (red, green, brown, and white)
🍪4 scribes (to help decorate, pop bubbles, and make those icing layers smooth!)
🍪2 mini cups of sprinkles

What’s the best way to store sugar cookies? How long do they last?

I get these questions often! So here are two ways that you can store your delicious cookies and keep them fresh.✨😋

1) Store cookies in their sealed bags at room temperature for up to 3 weeks.

2) Keep cookies in their bags and place inside an airtight container. Place container in the freezer for up to 3 months. To defrost: keep cookies inside their bags and containers at room temperature for several hours (around 8 hours should be good). Do not remove from container until defrost time is done!

While I’ve not yet encountered issues with colors running during defrost, it IS important to keep those cookies in their bags AND containers so that the condensation collects on the container and not on your cookies.💖 No one wants a soggy cookie 🙅🏼‍♀️

(If you freeze a PYO cookie, make sure to take the single-wrapped cookie out of its kit and freeze ONLY the cookie. Keep the paint palette at room temperature!)
