Want to apologize for little communication lately. We have been working on a new website and new flavors, Blueberry, Maple and possibly Coconut. We are also working on a Chocolate cookie or a Vanilla one with Chocolate filling or Chocolate dip. Will keep everyone posted on these soon.

At the September trade show in Boxboro, MA, New England Made Giftware & Specialty Food Show, Carl and I received 2nd Prize for Best New Product for Quality and Craftsmanship. It was voted by business owners who were buyers at the show. Pretty psyched that the Shuckie was appreciated by many of the hundreds of folks attending the show.

It's the first day of school in Maine so what better time to introduce you to the Perfect Attendance Box!

Box of Maine is teaming up with Count ME In Maine for the 2nd year in a row. We want to reward Maine students so we created a Maine School Box for classrooms who achieve Perfect Attendance any day during the month.

Here’s how it works:

✅Classrooms with perfect attendance any class day during the month will earn an entry into a drawing. A classroom can earn multiple entries a month!

✅At the end of each month, a random drawing will be held to select a winning classroom(s).

✅Winning classrooms will receive fun and educational rewards, like new recess materials, engaging classroom activities, books and fun Maine Made snacks!

We want to thank other Maine Small Businesses who have joined in on our efforts to reward Maine students for Perfect Attendance.

🍪 Big News from Atlantic Cookie Company! 🍪

We’re thrilled to announce that ACC is now a proud member of the Maine Tourism Association! 🎉 And what better way to celebrate than by spreading some cookie joy across the state?

On July 17, 2025, our founder Matt Flynn and business consultant Lisa G. Martin kicked off a sweet new adventure—delivering free cookies to Maine’s Visitor Centers! But first, a huge shoutout to Dot from Baskets by Dot in Vassalboro, ME, who generously donated beautiful Maine-made baskets to hold our cookies. Thank you, Dot! 🧺💛

🚗 First stop: I-95 Northbound Visitor Center (Mile Marker 175, Hampden)
We met the awesome Asher Valley, Travel Counselor extraordinaire, who helps travelers at both the north and southbound centers!

🚗 Next up: I-95 Southbound Visitor Center (Mile Marker 179, Hampden)
We were greeted by Marlene from Augusta, who couldn’t wait to grab a cookie and flyer! Then we met Rosemarie, whose smile lit up the room. She loved our cookie motto:
“Shuck it. Read it. Eat it. Love it.”
Her cookie quote—“Fishing is a delusion entirely surrounded by liars in old clothes”—brought back memories of her father, a Maine fisherman. 🐟❤️

🚗 Final stop: Yarmouth Visitor Center
We met Nigel from the UK and Arnie from the Netherlands, both Travel Counselors who were fascinated by our Maine seafood-themed cookies—just in time for the Yarmouth Clam Festival! 🦞🎉

This trip was full of smiles, stories, and sweet moments. If you’re traveling along I-95 in Maine, swing by a Visitor Center for a break, a smile, and of course—a cookie! 🍪💙
