What an awesome day on Sunday at the American Legion Post 94 America’s 250th Parking Lot Party!!! They did an incredible job!! Music, Food and so much more, a great time had by all!!! Thank you so much all you hard work in setting this up!

Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and honor the brave men and women who have defended them throughout our nation’s history.

To all of our veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and their families—thank you for your service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our country.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July. May you enjoy this day with family and friends while taking a moment to remember those who made our freedom possible.

Friday morning July 3rd the riders were present along with many other veterans organizations and honored guests to honor U.S. Army PFC Garfield McConnell Langhorn, Medal of Honor Recipient, and to welcome him to his final resting place. U.S. Army PFC Garfield McConnell Langhorn, who received the Medal of Honor for his extraordinary act of valor in the Vietnam War, will be interred at Calverton National Cemetery, PFC Langhorn was only 20 years old when he bravely sacrificed himself to save the lives of others. His platoon was on a mission to rescue two U.S helicopter pilots who had been shot down on a heavily wooded slope in Vietnam. When an enemy gr***de landed in front of PFC Langhorn and several wounded men, his fellow soldiers said he didn’t hesitate - several reported he had said, “someone’s got to care!” before throwing himself onto the gr***de and absorbing the blast

On Thursday we presented a donation check to the Long Island State Veterans Home in Stony Brook to help raise money for the purchase of a minivan to transport veterans. Thank you for all the work you do to support veterans.
