Today is the opening day at our new donut shop! Come grab a biscoff donut, or a lemon cake donut - just two of the recipes we adapted from the cakes and cupcake you used to love! And don't tell Valerie, but we also serve a full compliment of espresso and coffee drinks!

We have a dream: Open a donut shop that serves gourmet donuts and craft coffee, with 1980s era arcade games. Help us make it happen!

After four years, we have decided it is time to close the doors to our retail location! Thanks so much for all the love and support, Savannah! You've been great customers and we have LOVED making custom cakes for all your special occasions.

If you’ve ordered a cake from us, we have every intention of taking care of you! You should be receiving a call or email in the next few weeks. But rest assured, we still have a production baking facility and a crack squad of decorators on call.

But we’ve also made some deals with other local bakeries, including one special bakery just opened by one of our own superstar cake decorators (http://wickedcakesofsavannah.com/), so we can spread the love and try to share the opportunities we have so graciously been given. It's vacation time, y'all! The good folks at Cake It Away are taking a well-deserved break. We will be closed for two weeks, starting today, July 14. We'll be coming back in from time to time to make a few cakes that are already scheduled, but we won't be doing any tastings or opening for retail walk-ins for the rest of the month.
