🏗️ An exciting new chapter for Long Term Care! 💙

Long Term Care residents and staff joined together in the courtyard at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault to celebrate the ceremonial groundbreaking and the start of improvements designed with our residents in mind.

The Long Term Care unit will be fully updated to enhance comfort, safety and accessibility, with improvements including refreshed resident rooms and bathrooms, a new HVAC system, an updated dining area and kitchen, a redesigned nursing station and wider doorways.

We’re excited to see these improvements take shape and create an even more welcoming, comfortable environment for our residents, families and care teams.

🎶 More memories from Music in the Park! 💙

Our Long Term Care residents, staff and volunteers enjoyed another wonderful evening together at Music in the Park, this time celebrating the Night of Native Music.

From the beautiful music to time spent outdoors with friends, it was an evening filled with connection, culture and plenty of smiles. We’re grateful for opportunities like these that allow our residents to get out into the community, experience something special and make lasting memories together.

🎶 What a wonderful evening at Music in the Park! 💙

Our Long Term Care residents, staff and volunteers enjoyed fun filled with great music, fresh air and even better company. It was a joy to spend time together listening to performances by the Petoskey Steel Drum Band and Midnight Sun, while making memories our residents will cherish.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff and volunteers for helping make outings like this possible. Experiences like these bring our community together and add so much joy to our residents' lives.

🦋 From tiny eggs to beautiful butterflies, our residents had the incredible opportunity to witness one of nature's most amazing transformations.

Over the past month, residents and staff cared for butterflies from eggs discovered in nature, watching each stage of their journey with curiosity and excitement. This week, they celebrated by releasing the butterflies, creating a meaningful experience filled with wonder, smiles and shared memories.

Moments like these inspire conversation, encourage learning and remind us of the beauty that can be found in every season. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special project possible! 💙

Our team recently gathered to shower Julia, our quality nurse, with love and well wishes as she prepares to welcome her little one. From thoughtful gifts to sweet treats and plenty of laughter, it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this exciting new chapter together.

❤️ Red, white and blue—and lots of smiles, too!

Our Long Term Care residents had a wonderful time celebrating the Fourth of July together. From patriotic crafts to enjoying the sunshine outdoors, the day was filled with creativity, laughter and great company.
