Through the last 10 years I have greatly enjoyed my building on Main Street, which many years ago was the movie theater (The Sun Theatre). The building still has many neat original movie theater features. One I really liked and appreciated, was the old movie poster window displays. It was fun hanging various seasonal decorations and sales inside those windows.
On Friday, July 18th, I placed a final poster that I made, to inform customers, friends and others about the dispersal auction of my antiques, collectibles, display fixtures, furniture, gift shop items, and so much more. These items are from my store, The Nook, which was a delight to me.
I feel sad to walk away from my little gig, but I am grateful that God knows and cares about my disappointments, painful betrayal from "friends" and others and deep grief. Very thankful that He promises to never leave me nor forsake me and through it ALL He remains faithful and good.
I hope many of my customers and friends will be able to attend my auction, at The Nook:
