Chef Kirsten (Kirty) created Sweet Necessities in 2013.

At the age of 10 Kirsten started baking cookies for her family and friends and still retains a strong reputation for her homemade chocolate chip cookies. With the guidance and encouragement of family her passion for baking evolved into a love of artistry and the creative process involved in the making delicious desserts. Kirsten graduated from Scottsdale Culinary Institute in 2004 and has been per

fecting her pastry skills ever since. Kirsten continued her education by attending the University of Utah, where she received Bachelors in Health Promotion/Education with a minor in Nutrition in 2012. Sweet Necessities

Sweet Necessities is a Local Utah County home-based Catering Boutique. Only using quality ingredients, and made from scratch treats, I take pride in each sweet that leaves my kitchen. From the traditional chocolate chip cookies, pistachio cupcakes with buttercream frosting to the indulgence of crème brulee, Sweet Necessities will remedy your sweet tooth cravings. Sweet Necessities offers seasonal pies and crème brulee throughout the holidays. I have been creating custom wedding cakes since 2005, where the development and recipe for pistachio cake with buttercream and fondant has become my signature.
