Unfortunately, we won’t have our sourdough bread at the Route Cellar tomorrow.

Our sourdough starter decided to have a mind of its own this week (if you know, you know), and rather than put out bread that doesn’t meet our standards, we chose to scrap the batch. 💛

The good news? We’ll still be restocking with fresh cookies and MUFFINS! Thank you all for your understanding and for supporting our little bakery. We can’t wait to have fresh loaves back for you soon! 🥖🍪

If you’re stopping by The Route Cellar looking for your favorite sourdough, cookies, or other goodies, we’ve moved shelves!

We’re no longer near the front of the store. The Route Cellar recently reorganized so all food items are together in one area, which means you’ll now find us further toward the back near the refrigerator section.

We’re still fully stocked and ready for you—we’re just in a new spot! Thank you for continuing to support our little bakery. ❤️

Our Sandwich Bread made its debut at the market this past weekend, and the response was incredible!

So what’s the difference between this and our original sourdough?

Our original sourdough is an artisan-style loaf—nice crunch on the crust, soft on the inside, and perfect for serving alongside a meal, dipping in soup, or enjoying with butter.

Our new Sandwich Bread is still naturally fermented with sourdough, but it’s baked to be softer, fluffier, and more sliceable. Think everyday sandwiches, toast, grilled cheese, and PB&Js. It has all the flavor you love from sourdough with a texture that’s perfect for daily use.

Whether you’re an artisan loaf lover or looking for the perfect sandwich bread, we’ve got you covered. Thank you to everyone who gave it a try last weekend—we can’t wait to keep baking more for you! ❤️🍞
