Dear Friends and Family of Eccentric International Chefs,
I hope this message finds you all well. We are writing to share some important news and to express our heartfelt thanks.
After much thought, Chef Carl and I have made the decision to Retire from the bakery. It has truly been an honor and blessing serving you, and we are incredibly grateful for your trust, loyalty, and support over the last 23 years. Getting to know you all and being part of your lives has meant more to me than we can express. Getting to be a part of your weddings, birthdays, baptisms and holiday parties will be a part of us forever. We have been reminiscing over the last couple of weeks. We laughed and maybe shed a tear or two. We have enjoyed our time with you all. We have watched your families grow over the years as you have watched our 2 children grow.Chef Carl also coached some of your kids for many years on the soccer field and now you will see him on the sidelines as a referee. Don’t forget to say Hi!
I’m excited to let you know that the business will be continuing under new ownership. Angela and Sean from Angela’s Kitchen Bakery here in Santee will be taking over, and we are confident they will carry on the same care, quality, and commitment you’ve come to expect. Angela and Sean will have our cake, fillings and icing recipes but so many new items. Angela and Sean specialize in Sourdough bread, garlic rolls, cinnamon rolls, kolaches, brownies and so much more will be available please come by to say hi introduce yourself and try new items.
Please join me in welcoming Angea’s Eccentric Kitchen to Santee. I know you’ll be in great hands, and I wish them—and all of you—continued success.
Thank you again for the last 23 years. This is not goodbye forever, but a warm farewell with deep appreciation.
