In October, I was diagnosed with reproductive cancer. This came as a shock to me and to my family. I had to immediately close BRAID, but wanted to thank you for our time together, especially during our two years of Covid. You were the most wonderful customers, filling my soul with your incredible compliments, sharing your bread with others, and helped my small business grow! I also want to thank the hundreds of challah bakers across the country (and beyond!) that I follow and that follow me. I have learned so much from you - the way you run your businesses, how you produce and package your gorgeous products. Much continued success to you all. I welcome and ask for your prayers as I navigate this challenging healing process. PLEASE, no stories of personal or friends experience, no medical advice, no google info. Prayers only. Dough in the winter vs in the summer? Huge! Winter: takes forever to rise. Summer: much quicker! Today’s dough enjoyed a little extra water to keep it light and fluffy.
