This post comes with good news and bad news. Good news is our newer chickens have started to lay and we will have some cool egg colors in our up coming dozens! (It’s hard to tell in the picture but these are almost blue!)
Bad news is we have hit strike three. Not once, not twice, but three different times things have been taken from the farm stand and not paid for. It started with a baked good here or there but it’s now been larger sewing items that take me more time and effort to create. We totally understand times are hard right now but if that’s the case just knock or leave a note. This farm stand doesn’t bring in big bucks it’s something we enjoy doing and gives us enough to keep the stand running and maybe splurge on a coffee on the weekends so when $10-30 of profit goes unpaid for it does make a dent. Due to this we will be winding down our farm stand season in the coming weeks and next year will be adding a camera for surveillance. Thank you for understanding!
