Chickadee's is named in honor of the baker's late mother Adele, a sweet, loving Southern lady who had a special love for and connection with chickadees. The black-capped chickadee, a native species found all over North America, is a tiny bird with a huge soul - curious, friendly, playful, intelligent, feisty, and fearless. The baker is a Spanish translator of Lebanese descent who was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
