Here is the price list for them:

$5 per dozen - chocolate chip no nuts, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin or cranberry, molasses, spritz, snickerdoodles, sugar cookies (vanilla, chocolate, lemon, pumpkin or pistachio), maple walnut slices

$6 per dozen - chocolate chip with nuts, cranberry/orange cookies, pecan snowballs, peanut butter blossoms with kisses, macadamia white chip, salted vanilla toffee, shortbread, lemon white chip, lemon bars, Brownies

$7 per dozen - pecan tassies, biscotti, linzers, Cut out sugar or Anise or Gingerbread cookies (lightly decorated), Date-Oat bars, shortbread dipped in chocolate, Scandinavian Almond Sticks, Toffee Bars, Frosted Pumpkin cookies

I can make many other cookies and candies, pies, cakes, coffeecakes etc. but you must ask, there are so many I can't list them all. Please contact me via text or phone 815-695-5404. Whew! The Sandwich Fair is now over and I can get back to baking for you, my customers and followers. If you saw anything over the last month that I made for the fair, I can now make it for you! Please text me or call me with any orders or questions. My number is 815-695-5404. I will also be having a porch bake sale in October (haven't decided on a date yet but I will let you know).

Thanks for the many "congratulations" and encouraging words... unfortunately I did not win the Champion Baker this year. I am very happy though for the 50 ribbons that I did win. A lady named Dianna Wara from Washington, Illinois was the big winner for 2026. This will give me plenty of incentive for next year!

Well, I have to edit this post. I went back today and rechecked my entries and I only have 19 first places and 50 ribbons. My chocolate chip cookies did NOT receive a ribbon, I must have been dreaming when I wrote that down...oh well, I still have a good chance at the top prize.

Sandwich Fair Results -
20 first place ribbons
15 second place ribbons
16 third place ribbons
Total ribbons 51

This is my best results ever! I've never had 50 or more ribbons, never had 20 first place ribbons either... so we will find out on Friday if I am the 2026 Sandwich Fair Baking Champion. The prize this year is a gorgeous round tray with the Home Arts Bldg engraved on it. I forgot to take my phone today so I don't have any pics so the pics included are 4 of the items that got first places. I am including a list below of the items that took first places.

I was hoping my new car would hold as much as my old big car and it did great. I fit 10 of my trays in the trunk and 3 in the back seat. I ended up with 87 items submitted to the fair. I will do my best to let everyone know the Ribbon count tomorrow night. Are any of you attending tomorrow on the opening day of the fair???

Got almost everything ready to go to the fairgrounds tomorrow. As it stands the final number stands at 87. If I get motivation in the morning I may make a couple of things to get it up to 90. I have to frost Brownies and a 2 layer banana cake tomorrow also... I should have my ribbon count by Wednesday PM and find out on Friday if I win the Baking Champion this year....

Today I made Indian Naan Bread for the Ethnic yeast Bread category. It was the first time I made it and it turned out pretty good. I also made Maple Pecan Scones, Rye Bread and Rolls and Wheat Rolls. For the most part this is my last day of baking and making cookie doughs... tomorrow I'll be baking off the cookies and starting to prep for submitting to the Fair. The fair starts on Wednesday and the judging is also on Wed. They usually finish by late afternoon. The baking champion is not revealed until Friday. Please reply with some questions...
