To our clients and supporters:

Van Evergreen Acres will not be accepting any orders or participating in any events until further notice. Unfortunately, my husband Charlie was in an accident on his motorcycle and was hit by a drunk driver. He is currently hospitalized in Omaha, where I will be staying with him as long as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding as well as your thoughts and prayers for Charlie, our children and our families.

We will update everyone as soon as we are able to start up again.

Thank you to everyone that came out and supported us today at SpringFest!

We will be taking the next couple of weeks off due to graduation orders and hospital conversion weekend for me.

Well we had an interesting bake day!

Got my oven heating to open bake my loafs and my panel started on fire. We are all safe thank goodness! And I’m truly grateful for our friend that came to help get the old unit out and that I had added another stove into my garage last year while canning. Now we will be looking for a garage or house stove again.

The bakes came out well though and we will see how this stove does in The house now.

Did you know that all my recipes that call for vanilla extract has homemade vanilla bean paste made right in my own kitchen!

These vanilla beans are soaked in bourbon for at least 6-10 month before being made into a paste. Doing this brings out a strong vanilla flavor and rehydrates the bean for a better taste!

As I have so much paste this time and new beans on the way I will have 2 4oz jars for sale at B fierce this next Saturday!

One jar will be $10
