Hi to all of my wonderful neighbors and customers,
I just wanted to let everyone know that today was my last day as owner of Muffin Mania. I wanted to thank all of you for your incredible support over the last 8 years. I hope you will all come out to support the new owner, Armida Scopazzi, and the best staff ever! I have really enjoyed working and getting to know so many truly amazing people through that little neighborhood bakery. I will be a regular customer, as I am now retired, and hope to run into you at Muffin Mania!

Good Afternoon,
I just wanted to provide an update on our situation. Per my prior message, we lost our long time baker and chef about 2 weeks ago. We were fortunate to have our prior assistant baker step in to help, but he has found a new job, which is great for him. He will continue part-time with us, which will really help. That said, we are still looking for a baker. This is a very tough job, both physically and because of the 3:00 am start time 6 days a week. So, if any of our wonderful customers and neighbors know of anyone, with experience, who might be interested, please let them know. It is going to be tough for us until we find a replacement baker. We will be open Monday through Thursday, both this week and the following week. We will be closed on Friday and Saturday to celebrate Christmas and New Years. We wish all of you a happy holiday season and thank you for all of your continued support. We are trying our best to survive the pandemic and this crazy year.

Good afternoon,
I wanted to give an update on the latest developments at Muffin Mania. As many of you know, the state and county have introduced new restrictions due to the Coronavirus. We are still allowed to offer take out service, but can no longer sit any customers inside or outside on our patio. In addition to this issue, our long time baker quit today. So, we will be in a transition period and will do our best to provide the best service and products we can. Our new assistant baker, Maryjane, has only been with us for 2 months and is still learning. She is doing fantastic, but she has not learned everything and has not had any chance to learn the lunch and hot breakfast offerings. So, we may have limited offerings and hours until we can get back up to full speed. We appreciate your understanding and support and apologize for any inconvenience. The city is also closing Taylor street for the next 10 days, which takes away a lot of our parking for customers. We will be open tomorrow morning, but may be closing early. Thanks.

Good Afternoon,
Just wanted to let all of our customers and neighbors know we are still open from 6:00 am to 1:00 Monday through Saturday and have full breakfast and lunch offerings, along with all of our muffins and pastries. We know the constantly changing pandemic guidelines are hard to keep up with, but we have takeout service and an outdoor patio with 4 tables, if it is not too cold. Thank you to all of you who continue to support us through this really difficult time. We really, really appreciate it and look forward to seeing you soon!

I am posting to let our customers and neighbors know we are going through a very difficult time with several factors affecting us. Unfortunately, we are going to be closed until Monday, October 26th at the earliest. I will try to post updates as often as I can and hopefully we will be able to get back to normal operations in the next week or so. Thank you for understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.

Good Afternoon,

We just wanted to thank our customers who have found their way back to Muffin Mania. We really appreciate your support through this very difficult time for everyone. It has been especially tough for small restaurants and we will do our best to stay open, but our costs have continued to increase while business has been slow to rebound. We are serving our entire menu, though not all specials everyday, and we are struggling with how much to prepare as business is very difficult to project. We also wanted to let you know our outdoor patio is available for dining. Thanks again and we will keep you posted if anything changes.

Good Afternoon,
We are happy to announce that Muffin Mania will be reopening for takeout service, starting on Monday, May 18. We will be open from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm. We will be offering our baked goods, breakfast burritos, sandwiches and coffee and drinks to start, and see how it goes. We appreciate all of your patience and support, and hope everyone understands the necessary inconveniences you may experience due to social distancing guidelines. We want everyone to be safe! Looking forward to seeing all of our fantastic customers, neighbors and friends!

Update: We just wanted to stay in touch with our wonderful neighbors and customers and hope all of you and your families are safe and healthy. We are hanging in there so far and hope to see all of you soon. For now, we are sheltering in place and staying closed. We hope to reopen as soon as possible and we may start with just take out service. I will keep you posted if anything changes with our hours or situation. We really appreciate all of your support over the years and we miss you and can't wait to get back to work.

Update for our customers. We will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18th and probably through April 7th, as part of the Shelter in Place order. Sorry for the late notice as we really struggled with staying open for our great customers versus abiding by the order and helping to end this Public Health Crisis. We will keep you posted if we decide to reopen and provide take out service. Thanks for your support.
