What a way to spend a Sunday! Erika Paul – Jazz Artist & Music Specialist holds an A.A. degree in Music from College of San Mateo (CSM), a B.A. degree in Jazz Performing from San Jose State University (SJSU), is a BMI artist, Harry Fox publisher, AFM and NMPA member and is that rare career music artist that elegantly balances music performance, teaching, songwriting and recording, finding herself equally comfortable as not only being supportive as a sideman, but also as a bandleader, teacher and self-published independent “indie” recording artist.
Erika enjoys performing locally as well as nationally and internationally, as a soloist and in small combos up to full 17-piece big bands, she’s extremely comfortable reading arranged charts as well as soloing on both piano and vocals, loves teaching private piano, voice and guitar, giving clinics and masterclasses, writing and recording in the prolific way original indie artists often do. All her physical, digital and streaming album work is available online worldwide and everywhere.
