Wow. Wow. Wow. My heart is full after a day at our original Scout on Garden St. The vibes were high ✨the coffee was on point, and the pastries were flying! I had a chance to hug 🤗 long time customers, and to meet new ones, and as per usual my day may have ended with a little banter between parking services and myself… ANYWAYS, the best moment of today was when our Manager Skyler handed me a hand written note from a regular that was just so sweet- it literally made me tear up because you guys…”it’s about the coffee, it’s not about the coffee!!!” It’s so much more, and it matters! The greetings, the teamwork, the care and craft of our products, the intention of the space, all of it together matters and it makes us better, and our community better (Gary said so!) and I’m just so proud of our team for practicing authentic HOSPITALITY! It makes the world go round. And how about a shout out to Gary, he didn’t need to pass this on- but taking a moment to appreciate what you see in someone else- that is LIFE-GIVING! ⭐️thanks for the encouragement and thank you Scoutie crew downtown. I am a proud coffee mama! Now go write someone a note why don’t ya?! 📝
