big news, friends! son & crumb is taking the month of august off — we’re moving back to san clemente, the little beach town that means everything to us.

while we settle in, i’ll be sharing the whole journey here: the build-out of our new baking space, the messy in-between, and the occasional small drop as i dial in the new setup and process. so keep an eye out… you might catch a surprise bagel day 👀

ONE YEAR! One year since I took a hobby and turned it into a business. A year full of late nights, (lots of) early mornings, stress, challenges, risk, exhaustion, and honestly, struggling to juggle being a present mom of a toddler, a supportive wife of a retiring navy SEAL, and an excelling full time technical consultant at an amazing company I worked hard to be at. On the other hand, it was a year of growth, expansion (and I mean explosion), trust, confidence, transformation, drive, resilience, and wanting and becoming MORE.

Some backstory — a little over a year ago, I told my therapist I wanted more. I wanted to feel fulfilled and didn’t want to get lost in the routine of wake up, mom, work and mom, mom, bed. She told me to keep my eyes open, to look around, and dive in. So I did.

Thank you for supporting me, my family, and my little hobby turned into big dreams. I am so happy you’re here with me and for all that’s ahead in the next year of son & crumb🫶🏻
