I’m pretty proud of my first sugarpaste succulents; each leaf made separately for the larger sizes, then wired together. This cake was also my first request for a piñata-style cake — the center is filled with skittles, nerds, and sour patch kids. The succulents are just sitting atop the cake here; the client did final placement along with their own topper.

Alice in Wonderland is such a fun cake theme! My client and her daughter made some of the toppers: the tiny teacups, cute mushrooms, and Alice with her dog.

This cake was vanilla sponge with espresso syrup, mascarpone buttercream and cocoa powder.

I made this Lamborghini/Sauna cake a couple of weeks ago and forgot to post it! Joel has had a lifelong obsession with Lamborghinis, and Pia, who is Finnish, loves her sauna.

This was a nerve wracking cake for me, as it was my first sculpted car. Everything is edible, including the wheels which I molded from candy melts. The headlights/taillights are made from poured isomalt (like a sugar free candy). The whole body of the car and the sauna are vanilla cake filled with salted caramel buttercream.
