A new chapter for Café Mélange begins next week at San Francisco City Hall.

Join us Wednesday, March 18 as we celebrate the transition of Café Mélange from NCLF to Chef Dontaye Ball, longtime Bayview culinary leader and owner of Gumbo Social.

Under Chef Ball’s leadership, the café will spotlight local chefs, food entrepreneurs, and artists while serving City Hall staff and visitors.

Mayor Daniel Lurie and Supervisor Shamann Walton will join Chef Ball and NCLF leadership for remarks and a ribbon cutting during the formal program from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Guests are invited to experience the updated cafe from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Café Mélange is located inside City Hall (1 Dr Carlton B Goodlett Pl) on the Ground Floor.

I Thank God Shavonne arrived home safe on Wednesday evening. I am saddened to report today their was at Brown University.
I am saddened to share that there are confirmed reports of 2 deceased students. There are 9 additional victims in critica stable condition at the hospital. Please keep Brown students, family, staff and neighbors in the surrounding area in your prayers.

🚨Not feeling well this morning. I will not be at City Hall today. Sorry. Please come out and support over 50 makers, artisans, and merchants as San Francisco celebrates the holiday season. Bring friends and find unique, quality, locally-made gifts for everyone.This event is part of Shop Dine SF, a campaign for San Franciscans to spend shopping dollars in a City called home.
