Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate!!! I've been in my kitchen creating new chocolate combinations. I think the favorite among my trusty taste testers is the lemon butter cream truffle or the dark chocolate orange truffle.

My grandmother turned 96!!!!!! And for her birthday I made her a cake that I think is both elegant and artful. It is known as a "swirl cake". I like to make the swirls smaller than you'll see others doing to provide a more detailed appearance. I also add little sugar balls in the middle of each swirl because I think everything looks better with a touch of glitz and glam. The blue swirls are a close up of another swirl cake I made.
