***Best of the West X Announcement***

To all the west coasters who have been patiently waiting for info regarding Best of the West, we are happy to finally give you something.

First off, there's been a change in management for this event. Due to issues regarding Johnny Vs remodel, unsuccessful attempts to secure a new venue in SD and drastic changes in the previous organizers lives.

OGP and Norcal have done everything they can to make sure this event could continue in SD. They wanted nothing more than to deliver you one last event for the tenth annual BOW. They realised that probably wasn't going to happen in a timely manner and felt it was necessary to pass the event on.

Therefore, Pongstars.net has gladly taken on this task. As of right now we can say that BOW will 100% take place sometime in April or May.

As for the location, the top spot for numerous reasons brings the event back to where it all began, Phoenix, Arizona. We are looking at two other potential locations but as of now this serves us best in this scenario.

**SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT**
We are closing in on a deal with a new venue which will keep BOW in Sunny San Diego. We will have exact dates locked in within the next couple weeks but we are looking at March 2020. Keep your eyes peeled for an official event page with details coming soon!!!

**Reminder**
This year we are doing a FREE AGENCY DRAFT for those players who don't have a squad in their area to play on (100 Mile Radius of the team captain), Here is how its going to work.

Step 1) First we confirm there is no team available for you to play on locally.

Step 2) You must purchase your main event ticket before being put on the free agency list. When it asks what team you are playing for just put "Free Agency"

Step 3) You will then be put on the list in the order you registered for it.

Step 4) When a team needs to fill a spot on their roster they will receive the next player from the top of the list and so on.

If this doesn't makes sense to anyone feel free to comment or shoot us a message and we will be happy to explain.
