For anyone wondering where I’ve been, Candy Rain Cakes has been on vacation for the past month! 🎂✈️

I’ve been enjoying some much needed time away from the kitchen, and of course, vacation for me still includes a dog show or two. 🐾

This weekend was extra special because my little Rumi Susu made her show debut. She was an absolute natural, and I was so proud of her. The judge told me, “This is a very nice puppy. You need to walk slower though. Go walk again.” Apparently after all these years, I can still be the one who needs correcting in the ring. 🤍

A little glimpse of life outside the cake kitchen with my newest show girl.

I’ll be back to cakes soon, rested, happy, and probably still covered in dog hair. 🎂🐾

🌴✨ Candy Rain Cakes is officially on VACATION! ✨🌴

The ovens are off, the buttercream is taking a break, and so am I! 🎂💕✈️

I’ll be on vacation starting today through the end of September and will not be accepting cake orders during this time.

Thank you SO much to everyone who has kept me busy creating sweet things all year. 🥹🩷 I appreciate every order, every referral, every tag, and every person who trusts me with their special celebrations.

I’ll be back in October rested, inspired, and ready to make more pretty cakes! 🎂✨

See you soon! 💕🌴✈️

After 38 years of service, this incredible Navy Captain deserved a cake worthy of the career he built. 🇺🇸⚓️

He began his career as an enlisted nuclear sailor, serving four years enlisted before earning an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy and becoming a commissioned officer. Over the next 34 years as an officer, he served as the Executive Officer (XO) of a submarine, served on the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and retired as a U.S. Navy Captain (O-6) after an extraordinary career.

Every detail of this cake was handcrafted to honor that remarkable journey.

Congratulations, Captain Sean Fujimoto. Fair Winds & Following Seas.

Thank you for trusting Candy Rain Cakes with such an important milestone. It was an absolute honor to be part of your celebration. ❤️
