What I got for my birthday this year - a little bouquet of Edelweiss. I was shocked 😅 but what I’d didn’t know is that you can get nursery-grown Edelweiss and have some of these beautiful flowers in your own backyard.
Never pick these in the wild! Edelweiss is a protected species. Look for this plant in a nursery.
This little bouquet is drying now between book pages at my parents’ house. I’ll be happy to see it next year ❤️
As for the song.. I had never heard it until this one night in Sydney where I was for work some 15 years ago. I was meeting a group of travel agents and tour operators, and all of a sudden they started to sing this song together. You should have seen my face 😂
