This is the original Lelia. My namesake and Great Grandmother. Today is her birthday so I thought it was the perfect day to honor her!

I was lucky enough to have her in my life for 19 years. My aunt describes her perfectly as a great story teller, calm, patient, nurturing, hilarious, creative, the epitome of quiet strength and grace. She lived through many heartbreaks and trials in her 99 years. But always filled her life with love and service to others.

These are some of the reasons why I chose the name Lelia to represent my little cottage bakery. She inspires me still and I’m grateful for the example she is to me.

Although you all know me as Annie, Lelia is my first given name and I’m proud to share it with this amazing woman.

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Thanks for your patience as I took a little break. Our oldest left the nest to serve a mission in Paraguay. It’s been a big adjustment but we are so excited for this adventure he’s on.

I’m taking orders for delivery/pickup on FRIDAY APRIL 2. Order for a friend or neighbor with a surprise delivery. Or treat yourself!
